• Led the city through the COVID-19 global pandemic
• Authored Smyrna’s “Downtown Refresh,” creating a new, interactive open space for all residents to enjoy, including two new parks, a splash pad, Stillfire Brewing, and a parking deck for easier downtown access
• Secured $17 million for South Cobb Drive improvements from Concord Road to Windy Hill
• Supported our public safety professionals with three raises in just two years for the first time in Smyrna’s history, and oversaw an overall decrease in crime since taking office
• Helped create Support Smyrna, a non-profit specifically assisting those in need in the Smyrna Community, including veterans, seniors, children, families, and others
• Worked with council to approve a new splash pad at Riverline Park
• Reduced Smyrna’s carbon footprint by installing energy efficient lighting and systems throughout the city
• Rolled out the red carpet in appreciation of hundreds of Smyrna students at the Mayor’s Education Awards
